To coincide with the A Way of Be(i)ng collection, we released a small number of hand-felted vessels using using a wet felting technique. This is the process of repeated agitation and compression of natural wool fibres. Each strand of fibre is covered in tiny barbs. Heat, motion and moisture cause the barbs to open whilst agitating causes them to latch on to each other.
